High Attention, Low Attachment
Is there something in your life you really want? Here’s a liberating approach that blends control and surrender and comes from author Jack Canfield. He talks of the idea of “High attention but low attachment to a desired outcome. Say to yourself, “I’m focused on doing this in hopes of ________ or something better.” The last part of that statement is very important. Perhaps your focused efforts will ultimately lead where you intended but if not, maybe your efforts are leading you somewhere even better.
