Failure or Partial Success?
Is there a project that you keep putting off? During his Ted Talk, Tim Ferris makes the following suggestion: When attempting a project, ask “What might be the benefits of a partial success of an attempt?” This may seem like a simple question but is quite profound when put into action. Many people are afraid of trying something because they don’t believe they will fully succeed. But sometimes, partial success is more than good enough. It can set things in motion and lead to further opportunities and ultimately, more success. What task/project/challenge are you holding back from trying because of a fear of not fully succeeding? How might evaluating the benefits of a partial success help move you forward?
