Leasing Your Talents

Chris Guillebeau author of “Born For This”, states that if you are working for someone else, it can be helpful to have the internal dialogue that says: “I’m leasing my talents to you for now.” Thus, it is important to keep working on your side-project/business of your own. Developing it little by little if indeed one day you want to stop leasing your talents out for somebody else and instead fully capitalize on them yourself. What do you think of this approach? Are you okay leasing your talents out to someone else for now or are you craving starting something of your own?
