Why Some Can Only Start While Others Can Keep Going
Do you tend to start things in your life only to fail to keep going with them? Do you make a change only to fall back to your old ways? If so, perhaps you are relying on motivation too much. Jim Rohn said, “Motivation gets you started. Habit keeps you going.” Think of something you want to accomplish in your life. Then think of one daily habit that you could develop that would greatly increase the chances for your success. For example, perhaps you want to start jogging each morning before work. Perhaps you could commit to the habit of placing your jogging clothes and shoes next to your bed each night. What new habit will you develop so that the next time you feel motivated to do something, you stick with it?
